Who We Are

Shree Mahila Vikas Seva Mandal (SMVSM) is a registered non-profit organization established in 1991. Founded by Ushaben Kariya, the organization began as a grassroots initiative addressing women’s inequality and lack of opportunities.

Over time, SMVSM evolved from vocational training to a holistic development model, focusing on leadership, livelihood, health, and environmental sustainability.

  • 1140+ SHGs formed

  • 15,000+ women trained

  • 400 SHGs graded & ₹25 lakh revolving fund provided

  • loan facilitating for SHGs

2. Skill Development & Training

  • 157 training programs conducted

  • 4,414 beneficiaries trained

  • 17 tribal training programs benefiting 415 women

3. Water Initiatives

  • ‘Jal Jeevan Hai’ campaign across 1000 villages

  • Promoting water conservation and community-led water security

4. Health Programs

  • 120 trainings reaching 8500 women

  • HIV awareness, RCH services, and community health camps

5. Environmental Initiatives

  • 90 waste management trainings (10,343 beneficiaries)

  • 60 eco-lifestyle trainings (5500 beneficiaries)

  • 129 Green & Blue trainings (9500 beneficiaries)

  • 371 BMCs formed

  • 222 PBRs under preparation

  • 100,000 medicinal plants planted
